Something Something by Ramesh Srivats

• Modesty about nothing • Knowledge about a few things • Curiosity about many things • Opinions about everything

Ramesh Srivats
1986 to 1992
Did as I was told

Gathered two degrees, one wife, and zero maturity.

1992 to 2008
Told people what to say

My advertising career. JWT, Rediffusion Y&R.

2008 to 2018
Tried to do instead of say

Founded a couple of startups, and executed a couple of shutdowns.

2018 to 2025
Told people what to do

Brand & Strategy consulting. Took credit for ideas, assigned blame for execution.

2026 onwards
Say what I want. Do what I want

Plan to create content and achieve contentment.

And wait...

I read close to 100 books a year, so I have opinions about things I have no business having opinions about.

And I love technology. With enthusiasm, bewilderment, and too many subscriptions.

Quick Puts

Short, snappy, and (hopefully) witty takes on anything and everything.
